(1) Natural drying takes about 30-40 days to make the moisture content reach about 30%.
(2) Artificial drying takes about 10-30 days to make the moisture content below 10%. This process also distills the pulp juice in the wood, balances the wood cell wall structure, and the drying shrinkage performance tends to be stable and consistent.
(3) It takes about 10-20 days for health treatment. Through this process, the three purposes of wood drying are finally achieved.
The drying balance treatment is the so-called heat treatment. The length of this processing time will vary with different materials, but it cannot be artificially shortened. There is a false statement in sales that the heat-treated floor is "never deformed". In fact, this is impossible. Regardless of how it is handled, the wet expansion and shrinkage of wood due to changes in the moisture content of the fiber below the fiber saturation point is inevitable.
